Using a specially designed orthogonal acceleration reflectron time of flight (W-TOF) mass spectrometer combined with our unique PTR technology, this is the new flagship of IONICON PTR-TOFMS Series: The IONICON PTR-TOF 8000. This instrument delivers a mass resolution of up to 8000 and nevertheless reaches a limit of detection < 10 pptv.

The PTR-TOF 8000 is a combination of the very low online detection limit, our PTR products are known for, and the speed & resolution of a time of flight mass spectrometer.
The TOF component gives the ability to analyze a whole mass spectrum in a split second with a mass resolution of more than 4000 and up to 8000. Even isobaric species can be resolved and identified with virtually no instrumental mass range limitation and a linearity range over six orders of magnitude.
